Sōryūsha

Sōryūsha consists of artists, who studied directly under Morita Shiryū, the founder of the Bokujinkai. Our members continue to create their own distinctive script and hold group exhibitions. Sōryūsha features member works and conducts research on the classics, focusing on the study of calligraphic masterpieces.

Our mission is the introduce and promote the diverse range of Morita Shiryū’s creative works, calligraphic models, and writings. Currently, we hold Sōryūsha exhibitions in Kyoto and Yokohama and publish the collection of Morita Shiryū’s rinsho (calligraphic models).
